Office of Agricultural Economics has teamed up with German Technical Cooperation (GTZ Thailand) to promote production of oil palms and palm oil in their sustainable palm oil production for bio-energy project.

GTZ has provided fund of Bt10 million for the project, which will covers the study of Green House Gas emission from the palm oil industry to the study of the production chain, from the production of oil palms to the processing to become bio-diesel. The studies will take two years.
