DEMCO Plc on Monday signed the Bt800 million contract to construct the wind power plant in Phetchabun for Sustainable Energy Corporation.

The contract period is 16 months.

Phongsak Siricupta, deputy managing director, said the deal is paving way for Demco to be the leading contractor for alternative energy producers - wind and solar - thanks to its integrated services.

The company also looks forward to win more deals from Wind Energy Holding which puts up more wind farms with combined capacity of 680MW.
