Clean technology projects approved

The National Economic and Social Development Board has approved in principle the Kingdom's plan to invest in low-carbon technology.
The plan will also enable Thailand to seek financial assistance from the Clean Technology Fund (CTF).
Ampon Kittiampon, secretary-general of the NESDB, said on Sunday that two priority sectors set for the investment are energy and logistics. Total investment for these two sectors will reach Bt4.26 billion.
"This will reduce green house effect emission in both short and long-term periods and lead the country towards sustainable development," Ampon said.
